The Pipestone Area Community Foundation provides a mechanism for any person of modest or ample means to make a meaningful, lasting contribution to the Pipestone Area through gifts to our foundation.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. The Pipestone Area Community Foundation is an affiliate/community foundation partner of the public charity and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Southwest Initiative Foundation (SWIF). As such, gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

How is my donation used?

We are extremely grateful for your gifts to PACF. Your gifts help fund projects that benefit all individuals living in Pipestone and the surrounding area. For information about our work in the community, visit the "Our Impact" page.

How are gifts and donations acknowledged?

All contributors have the opportunity to be recognized by the Pipestone Area Community Foundation, if they desire. Anonymous donations can be made as well. We recognize our donors through a variety of ways including: news releases, on the website, at participating area facilities, and via other methods as the Advisory Board of Directors determines.

How to Donate

Donating to PACF is convenient and simple!

We accept contributions in the form of credit cards, checks, cash, and money orders. Credit card contributions must be processed through our online giving platform at, a service facilitated by the Southwest Initiative Foundation, and goes only toward the Foundation's Endowment Fund.  Check, cash and money order contributions may be processed through our simple mail-in contribution form.

Remember, donations to the Pipestone Area Community Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Donate to the Senior Center / Food Shelf / Meals on Wheels Capital Campaign

The giving goal is $650,000

Contributions made to this special project will serve the community through meeting the needs of three community-minded organizations. All contributions are tax deductible.

General Use Foundation Online Donations

Giving online to our Endowment Fund (not available to use for our Project Funds) has never been easier or safer thanks to our online contribution center provided through a partnership of the Southwest Initiative Foundation and This secure online giving portal provides our donors with information about their giving, and also allows users the ability to easily track their contributions in a single online location.

Thanks to financial support from organizations including the Southwest Initiative Foundation, there are currently no processing fees on individual contributions.
